Alex Duta is an entrepreneur with a deep passion for the restoration industry and an unwavering belief in the boundless opportunities that exist for innovation and growth. In 2014, alongside his father, Alex co-founded Romexterra, a fire and water restoration company in Chicago. As the business grew to eight figures, Alex had noticed that there were no restoration-specific spaces where he could learn how to grow, scale and unlock the opportunities in the industry.

This realization ignited his mission to propel the industry forward and start filling in those gaps, starting with Albi, the first software platform built exclusively for restorers, transforming the way restoration businesses manage operations. Co-founded in 2020, and under Alex’s leadership as CEO, Albi has rapidly become one of the industry’s leading technology platforms, following its growth as a successful Y Combinator and venture-backed technology company.

Driven by his passion for fostering innovation, Alex not only leads Albi but also actively coaches restorers through Evolve, the only Restoration Mastermind, and shares his insights as a keynote speaker at industry events.
