Fungal Footprints: Tracking Mold to its Age and Source

During this course, we’ll begin by covering the basics of mold, including its scientific definition, types, and growth conditions, with support from microscope images and photos. We’ll also explore the differences between mold and fungi, as well as common moisture sources that contribute to mold growth. The session will then focus on the duration of mold growth, using examples of moisture exposure and surface sampling. Finally, we’ll discuss the importance of mold growth duration in insurance claims.
